COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

Community Programs provides Airmen and their families with invaluable connections outside of the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program. All external resources presented through Community Programs are vetted through the National Resource Directory. Many national and local non-profits are linked to our program and can provide the support needed during Airmen's recovery transition. For more information, please email: AFPC.DPFW.AFW2CommunityPrgm@us.af.mil

CARE FAIR

The CARE (Resource) Fair highlights organizations equipped to serve the AFW2 population with resources during CARE Events. With the help of external organizations, Community Programs can further assist in many areas: Mental Health, Benefits, Financial Education, Peer Support, Events and Engagement Opportunities, Employment, Financial Assistance, Service Dogs, Caregiving Resources, and Legal. The CARE Fair roster is continuously being updates throughout the year as we collaborate with different programs.

JOIN US ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Check out the latest news with Community Programs by joining our private regional based Facebook groups. Each individual is vetted before receiving access to join. Since members are all part of AFW2, you know you have something in common. The goal for regional based Facebook groups is to connect the Warriors to resources in their specific area. This initiative allows Warriors to collaborate on events and engagement opportunities, participate in buddy checks, and exchange information.
