The Ambassador Workshop is designed to help Warriors and Caregivers tell their stories of recovery and resiliency. During the workshop they will receive personalized guidance and feedback on shaping their story to deliver to a variety of audiences. During the CARE event each attendee will get the opportunity to share their story with an audience.
Those who graduate the workshop will attend briefings, conferences, symposiums etc., in an effort to highlight resiliency in recovery and educate internal and external audiences about AFW2 program. Read more about the program.
RECOVERY THROUGH SHARING
Being able to put words to individual experiences allows Airmen to endure their journey and heal. When addressing an air force audience, our ambassadors get the chance to create change and impact perspective.
ONE-ON-ONE FOCUSED TRAINING
Workshop facilitators help shape stories of recovery while teaching best practices in verbal and non-verbal communication. Ambassadors share their story with confidence to Air Force audiences.
LEADERSHIP EXPOSURE AND AWARENESS
Educating leadership about the AFW2 program is key to help ensure current and future Airmen are informed about resources available during times of need. Ambassadors value their mission of sharing to enhance overall AFW2 awareness.
