Guard-Reserve Classification

The Air Reserve Component (ARC) cell provides personalized support and non-medical case management and advocacy for enrolled Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve recovering service members (RSMs) as they navigate through their recovery and rehabilitation. The ARC cell provides service until RSMs are either returned to duty or separated from military service.

The ARC cell is staffed by Non-Medical Care Managers who serve as subject matter experts on the complex issues ARC members face. They can answer questions and concerns members may have concerning their case and provide counseling on benefit and entitlement programs for members and their families. The AFW2 ARC cell works daily with the Air Reserve Personnel Center, Air Force Reserve Center and the Air National Guard Bureau to resolve personnel and transition issues such as Line-of-Duty processing, incapacitation pay, enlistment extensions, out-processing and more.

The ARC Cell can be reached by calling 1-800-581-9437, or via email at afpc.dpfwm.arc@us.af.mil. For more information on Air Force Guard/Reserve Benefits and Entitlements, you can find helpful fact sheets on their website.
