During the month of September AFW2 recognizes the need to have a long, hard talk about Suicide Prevention and Awareness. Suicide continues to be a huge concern for the Air Force and the Department of Defense and AFW2 hopes to spark dialogue that will continue well beyond this month in a goal of being a part of the solution. You can find resources to help guide the conversation on suicide awareness and prevention in Invisible Wounds Initiative’s September 2020 Commander's Call Talking Points. Take a moment to read and engage with those around you and help reduce the number of active duty and veteran suicides. The Director of Air Force Resilience, Brig. Gen. Claude K. Tudor, says, "It is imperative we each do our part by continuing to check in on our wingmen and care for each other during this time of increased stress and uncertainty."
Do you part and #BeThere.
