June is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month. This month, the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for PTSD website will be featuring veterans talking about their personal experiences, tips and resources to educate and help those dealing with trauma.

Each week, visit www.ptsd.va.gov to watch videos of veterans discussing important issues related PTSD and why it is important to get help: The schedule includes:

-- Week 1: How I knew I had PTSD
-- Week 2: My family suffered
-- Week 3: Hear how treatment helped me
-- Week 4: My advice: Don't wait

As part of PTSD Awareness Month, VA's National Center for PTSD staff asks everyone to learn more about PTSD and spread the word to others. Everyone is also encouraged to visit VA's PTSD awareness page or follow VAPTSD on Facebook or Twitter.
