myPay unveils online system enhancements

The myPay  online pay management system for customers of the Defense Finance and Account Service rolled out new and enhanced financial tools with its fall 2014 release September 14.

Military retirees will now have five years' worth of 1099R tax statements available online 24/7 to help with filing or refiling tax returns, or for use with loan applications and other personal financial business. Additionally, a verification of pay can be downloaded for printing for use and will be formatted on official DFAS letterhead.

Another much-requested tool allows all DFAS customers subject to commercial debt or court-ordered garnishments of pay to view the court documents used to establish those debts and garnishments via their myPay accounts.

Combined Federal Campaign contributors are no longer restricted to contributing to approved charities within the CFC region where they work. An enhancement to the myPay ePledge feature now allows users to search through all charities in every CFC region and select those they choose to support. For military members and employees working far from their families, supporting worthy causes "back home" is now possible using ePledge's easy payroll deductions.
