Newest Airman magazine edition hits newsstands Published March 7, 2014 FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. -- The March/April issue of Airman magazine is now available to download and view through a Web browser. The cover story is titled, "Lightning Strike," and features the F-35A Lightning II, the Air Force's newest multirole aircraft. With its highly advanced stealth capabilities, pilots can operate in heavily defended airspace environments. Also in this issue is a story titled, "Rolling Thunder, which celebrates the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds' 60 years of displaying the pride and professionalism of Airmen to people around the world. Accompanying both features are stories showcasing the dedication and skills of each aircraft's enlisted maintainers.
