2013 tax statement delivery schedule

Pay customers of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service are scheduled to receive their 2013 tax statements between mid-December through January.

Most of the W-2 and 1099 forms will be available earlier via the online myPay pay account management system for retired military members and annuitants paid by DFAS.

Retiree Account Statements are now available on for those people with a myPay account. MyPay customers can begin downloading their 1099R tax forms Dec. 18.

Those retirees who rely on receiving an RAS and 1099R via the U.S. Postal Service will receive their statements in the mail between Dec. 19 and Jan. 10.

Annuitant Account Statements and 1099Rs will be available online Dec. 15 for myPay customers. Those annuitants who rely on receiving an AAS and 1099R via the U.S. Postal Service will receive those documents in the mail between Dec. 19 and Jan. 10.

Retirees who do not receive their documents by the end of January can send a written request to: Defense Finance and Accounting Service, U.S. Military Annuitant Pay, P.O. Box 7130, London, KY 40742-7130. They can also fax a request to 800-469-6559.

Annuitants who do not receive their documents by the end of January can send a written request to: Defense Finance and Accounting Service, U.S. Military Retired Pay, P.O. Box 7131, London, KY 40742-7131. They can also fax a request to 800-982-8459.

All written requests must include a full name, Social Security number, signature and the date. It can take 30 to 60 days for DFAS to process a written request.
