Tech. Sgt. Chris Ferrell awarded Purple Heart at NFL game

Tech. Sgt. Chris Ferrell, 11th Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight, carries 1st Lt. Nathan Nelson, up a flight of stairs so they can tour an 89th Airlift Wing C-32A at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Nelson was hit with a 107mm rocket in Afghanistan and is paralyzed. Ferrell was also wounded while disarming a road-side bomb in Afghanistan and will be pinned with a Purple Heart Medal during an NFL half-time show by Maj. Gen.
