Some of family that came out to root on the wounded warriors at today's Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2) Virtual Track & Field competiition had just as much as fun as the athletes. In the current climate of physical distancing, AFW2 endeavors to continue maintaining a connection with wounded warriors and their caregivers. They do this through live virtual events on social media and have begun holding competitive events like this one for athletes to stay engaged with adaptive sports and with the staff of AFW2.
