From multi-squadron 1st Sgt to recovery care coordinator, retired SNCO uses wealth of experience to help others
U.S. Air Force then-Master Sgt. Beau Jones, right, then-332nd Security Forces Group first sergeant, poses for a photo with Abdul, an Iraqi security guard, during a deployment to Iraq in August 2009. Abdul was one of around 500 local guards who were the first point of contact for military and locals visiting Balad, helping to protect the base. They were responsible for screening the 1,500 locals who worked on base prior to entry. Jones was visiting the posts where U.S. security forces trained local guards on security procedures.
