Invisible Wounds Initiative Leadership Campaign

“We call on each command team to act – to lead, support, and engage our Airmen and Guardians living with invisible wounds.”

Read the message from General Charles Q. Brown Jr., Chief of Staff of the Air Force, USAF and General John W. Raymond, Chief of Space Operations, USSF, here.

Leaders play an integral role in mission readiness and day-to-day operations for their Airmen and Guardians. The Invisible Wounds Initiative Leadership Campaign is a recommended plan of action for leaders to change the culture surrounding invisible wounds in order to maintain a resilient fighting force.

The Invisible Wounds Command Team Guide and Toolkit equips the Command Team with fundamentals about invisible wounds: recognizing the signs and symptoms of invisible wounds, understanding both causes and impacts of invisible wounds, resources to direct Airmen and Guardians to care, and an overview of responsibilities as a member of the Command Team.
